After graduating from INIS in 2013, Ariane Louis-Seize entered the world of professional cinema through the front door.
Her directorial debut Wild Skin (2016), a 29-minute short about the wacky world of a snake-woman, won the Cours écrire ton court grand prize for its screenplay. The film had its world premiere at TIFF (Toronto International Film Festival) and went on to travel to over fifty festivals around the world, winning numerous awards and nominations along the way. “I’ve always loved supernatural worlds, with characters who are on the bangs.” A new filmmaker with a universe as original as it was fascinating was born.
