Mickaël Gouin

Since graduating from the National Theatre School of Canada in 2010, Mickaël Gouin has distinguished himself on a variety of stages (TV, web, film, theater).
On TV, he first appeared in several popular series (Trauma, La galère, 19-2, L'auberge du chien noir, Les bobos, MDR, Les jeunes loups, 30 vies), but is best known for his performances in SNL Québec, Mon ex à moi, Camping de l'ours, Hubert et Fanny and the three seasons of En tout cas.

In 2020, Mickaël stars in the Escouade 99 series and plays in Survivre à mes enfants. In 2023, he appears in Radio-Canada's À cœur battant, the second season of Bête noire and The sticky, an American series co-produced with Canada and broadcast on Amazon Prime Video.

In addition to acting, Mickaël Gouin has worked as a scriptwriter on Les Parent and SNL Québec, and created and scripted 7$ par jour and PITCH, which won the Gémeaux for best web series in 2014. He has also participated in the scripting of numerous web series as a script-editor.

As an actor, he has also distinguished himself in some fifteen web series, including the hits L'âge adulte and 7$ par jour.

In 2019, he co-wrote and starred in the web series La règle de 3, for which he won a Gémeaux for his performance.

On the stage, Mickaël Gouin has made a name for himself in plays such as Cinq visages pour Camille Brunelle and Toccate et Fugue, as well as being part of the cast of Bilan at Théâtre du Nouveau Monde in fall 2018.

His film credits include Anne Émond's Les êtres chers and Nelly, and Francis Leclerc's Pieds nus dans l'aube. He was also seen in Guillaume Lambert's Les scènes fortuites in 2017 and Sophie Dupuis' Souterrain in 2019. He also stars in the comedy-drama Lignes de fuite, directed by Myriam Bouchard and Catherine Chabot and 1995 by Ricardo Trogi.
