Simon Roy teaches literature at Collège Lionel-Groulx.
In addition to contributing to the literary magazines Nuit blanche and Lurelu, he has published reviews in Alibis, a magazine specializing in thrillers and noir novels. Published by Éditions du Boréal, Ma vie rouge Kubrick (2014), winner of the Prix des Libraires du Québec, Owen Hopkins, Esquire (2016), Fait par un autre (2021) and Ma fin du monde (2022).
He died in 2022 after receiving medical assistance in dying.
