Assih Kasaleo, la révélation is a touching journey through time and cultures, from Rimouski to Kinshasa, via Brussels, revealing the transformative power of kasàlà, a form of Congolese poetry whose words aim to affirm an individual's place in his lineage and community. This documentary mini-series takes us to the heart of the life and teachings of Jean Kabuta, a Congolese-born teacher from Rimouski, and to the encounter with men and women of diverse origins who share a common interest in learning and practicing contemporary kasàlà.
