On one side, the tension and violence of the arena; on the other, the breathtaking luxury of the costumes and the tormented gaze of the bullfighter. From afar, the audience's enthusiasm for what is presented as a veritable rock opera, and which also (above all?) depicts a certain toxic masculinity on show. Andrés Roca Rey, star of the bullfighting world, takes up almost all the space with his arched body, impossible postures and feverish face. An absolutely magnetic character who guides us, between fascination and disgust, through this stunning, visceral and meditative staging.
