Musée d'art contemporain des Laurentides
Located in one of the most prestigious historic buildings in the Laurentians, the Musée d'art contemporain des Laurentides' mission is to publicize, promote and disseminate the visual arts, with an emphasis on contemporary and current art.
Accredited since 1986, the Musée is recognized as one of the most dynamic and successful in the Quebec museum network. It offers a wide range of activities, including lectures, roundtables, meetings, cultural escapades and video evenings. Every year, thousands of students visit the exhibitions and learn about contemporary art. In 2000, the Musée also launched the Jeunes artistes en arts visuels des Laurentides competition to encourage the next generation of visual artists.
