Féminicides, une histoire mondiale
"Féminicides, une histoire mondiale" (Femicide, a global history) is a multidisciplinary creation combining performance art, feminist self-defense, dance, Gregorian chants, theater, and urban collages.
The play, inspired by the eponymous essay "Féminicides, une histoire mondiale," directed by Christelle Taraud, traces the history of the murder of women from witch hunts to the present day.
On stage, seven performers recite the names of the missing women in litanies, fight for their memories, and build a memorial to the dead.
