"Juste vide ton coeur" is an intimate performance created in collaboration with director Angela Konrad. In an uninhibited and offbeat way, Xénia, an artist associated with USINE C, examines the human condition, somewhere between slam poetry, theater, diary, drag, and confession. Before us, Xénia pours out her heart and invites us to experience this journey with her, without detours.

Anchored in a complex absurdity, Xénia hooks us with her machine gun tongue. She deploys her Acadian dialect, Chiac, remaining faithful to her roots. Always in flux, her relationship with her body, her desires, and the concept of home shape her view of the world. She is known for her lively performance skills, and her ability to question the structure of the world is always coupled with moments of authentic sensuality and character work.

After the death of her aunt and grandmother, Xénia Gould wonders if “those women would still love me without my beard.” It is after moving to Montreal, transitioning, and delving into her memories that Xénia seeks to see if these deceased women can help her transcend her own fear of death and abandonment.
