Mikha.elles "Camino de mujeres"

elles created in 2020. Four unique voices, those of Marie-Neiges Harvey, Carmelle Gauvin, Judith Little-Daudelin and Mikhaëlle herself, converge towards a single vocal expression, exploring a repertoire with Latin rhythms, sung in Spanish and French. They are accompanied on percussion by the talented Lara Klaus. Mikhaëlle's mixed origins, born to a Quebecois mother and a Chilean father, are a source of inspiration for the various themes addressed throughout this show, which is taken from the album of the same name, released in November 2023. This album received a nomination at the adisq (2024) and the Prix Opus (2025) in the Album of the Year – World Music category. The group was also nominated at the Canadian Folk Music Awards gala in the Vocal Group of the Year category (2025).
