Horrified by today’s world, this undead grandmother dreams of restoring a bygone golden age. To achieve her goal, she transforms her ideological opponents into zombies, enlisting them in a chillingly fascist social project. By turns martyr, pop star and tyrant, Mommy constantly reinvents herself to seduce the masses.

In this political satire staged as a rap performance, Olivier Choinière subverts theatrical conventions to expose the rise of reactionary rhetoric. Blending storytelling, lip-sync, original songs, choreography and gory special effects, the production plunges audiences into a world where the undead seize power under the guidance of a live DJ with a messianic aura.
