Tristan Guay
Navigating between folk rock and pop, Tristan explores modern surf sounds with a color all his own.
The Gatineau-born artist launched his first single, Rien n'arrive pour rien, in 2022, and took part in the Festival International de la Chanson de Granby, where he won the Taxi Promo - Disques Passeport prize. He went on to perform at a number of competitions across Quebec, including Ma première place des arts, Le Tremplin de Dégelis and the Festival de la chanson de Saint-Ambroise. On his debut EP Dans une autre vie (2023), Tristan writes a diary of the collision of two parallel, sometimes contradictory lives, which he is still trying to reconcile. With the songs that make up the next album, Tristan reincarnates from piece to piece, living his multiple lives patched together into a single one: his own.
