Women’s History Month at the former monastery of the Sisters Adorers of the Soeurs adoratrices du Précieux-Sang

From the drawings of scientist Germaine Bernier to the musical scores of La Bonne chanson illustrated by Sister Marie Sainte-Hortense, visitors will have the opportunity to discover works created by artist Lucie Diotte.

Other spaces have been arranged in the chapel of the former monastery to highlight the richness of the history of women from the Maskoutain region, including the fascinating life of journalist Henriette Dessaulles and the work of the Sisters of Sainte-Marthe of Saint-Hyacinthe, which celebrates the bicentennial of the birth of its founder, Éléonore Charron.
