In an open-air creative research project, multidisciplinary artist Amélie Courtois and undisciplined poet Charles Sagalane experimented with ways of naturally coming together.
Between themselves. In the in-between. With the rest of the world.

Over the course of nearly two years, they journeyed through a variety of territories, forest, lake, river, cultural, literary, and inner landscapes, collecting fragments of reality and welcoming the unwelcomable. Through their myth of the “collector-binder,” the artists assembled a living, shifting, and sensitive repertoire that takes shape within the undefined contours of the exhibition Les unions naturelles.

Through a wide range of artistic forms, this nomadic creative duo explored the fertile and poetic connections that flow between gathering, wandering, encounters, and transmission. In their daily practice, Amélie and Charles cultivate an intuitive approach, driven by the insatiable curiosity of one who discovers and the wonder of one who creates.
