L’orchidée by Léanne Lefebvre

Born out of a fascination with grocery store flowers in vibrant, artificial hues—neon blues, turquoises, and fuchsias—this unique project creates a dialogue between flash photography and meticulous drawing. By capturing these plants through their plastic packaging before reinventing their forms through line work, the artist challenges our contemporary relationship with desire, appearance, and market value.

Displayed in the outdoor light boxes along Langelier Boulevard, this series of three large-format compositions subtly blurs the boundaries between natural observation, industrial transformation, and intimate reappropriation.

Immerse yourself in this poetic encounter between the natural and the artificial. An unmissable artistic stop to take a fresh and vibrant look at the ordinary objects that fill our daily lives.
