Groovy Aardvark

Groovy Aardvark

One of the most iconic figures of Quebec's alternative rock scene, Groovy Aardvark has been leaving its mark for four decades now.
With the release in 1996 of Vacuum, which features the hits "Dérangeant," "Boisson d'Avril," and a high-energy cover of "Le Petit Bonheur" by Félix Leclerc, the band experienced a meteoric rise. Four albums followed, including their final one, Sévices rendus, in 2005. In 2019, the group joined forces with Slam Disques to bring a host of new projects to life, notably the release of double vinyl and remastered editions of their albums Vacuum and Eater's Digest. To this day, Groovy Aardvark remains one of the most influential and respected rock bands Quebec has ever known, and this year marks its 40th anniversary.
