Le Gesù
The mission of the Centre de créativité du Gesù is to offer the public and artists spaces and experiences that inspire, encourage questioning and provoke encounters, with the aim of fostering expression and accessibility to art.
In addition to rental activities based on affinities, made coherent by a desire to create unique programming, it develops dissemination activities, presents concerts, supports emerging artists by offering creative residencies and gives visibility to visual artists.
The Gesù amphitheatre is at the heart of this cultural organization. This well-known venue boasts an intimate atmosphere and exceptional acoustics, enabling audiences to experience a privileged encounter with the artist. It's a place of dissemination and expression that singularly combines the sacred, history, contemporary art and the performing arts. It offers the public and artists three performance halls, a foyer, meeting rooms and the baroque-style Gesù church, declared a historic site by Heritage Canada in 1975.
